Goat leather covers the palm to provide abrasion resistance and tactile feedback of your controls. Thinsulate insulation is localized onto the back of the hand to keep windchill to a minimum while still allowing full control with your fingers. Poron XRD soft impact absorbing material at the palm and knuckle are comfortable even after long hours in the gloves, but still provide impact protection.
