Klim brings you the Dakar Jacket – the dual sport dominator! The Dakar Jacket is engineered to dominate the most challenging multi-season dual-sport/off-road conditions. Building on a proven chassis, the redesigned jacket features improved airflow, range of motion, durability and storage to make it even more suited for aggressive riding and light adventure travel. The sleeves zip off when the going gets hot, ample pockets store your essentials, and more durable fabrics give you confidence when the trail turns to road.

The Dakar Jacket is designed to kit with the rest of the Klim Dakar series off-road gear.

The jacket has highly durable lightweight 600D material on the chest, hem, and cuffs. It’s got abrasion-resistant upgraded 630D Cordura® twisted yarn overlays on shoulders, elbows and high wear zones, 500D breathable Karbonite™ Micromesh 4-way stretch zones and 500D breathable Karbonite™ Micromesh 4-way stretch on the back panel for excellent mobility.

The sleeves zip off when the going gets hot and can be stored in the back pocket. The jacket is D30 compatible (not included). It has back, shoulder and elbow armour pad pockets. The shoulder armour pockets are functional even with zip off sleeves (however no shoulder armour is possible while arms are removed). The jacket has 3M™ Scotchlite™ C790 Carbon Black reflective material at key areas for biomotion recognition.

The Dakar Jacket is highly ventilated and has 2 massive adjustable wrist vents with dual zippers, 2 bicep vents, 2 sleeve hole vents, 2 back vents and a collar tab back for increased airflow to upper chest. The Dakar Jacket comes with ample storage with an oversized chest pocket (doubles as vent), a billowed chest cargo pocket, 2 billowed hand cargo pockets, a rear billowed pocket for storing sleeves and an internal chest pocket.

Other comfort and fit features include a moisture-wicking breathable liner, comfort collar w/ shock cord adjust, low profile in-pocket bottom hem adjustment, adjustable velcro cuffs, a fit compatible with D3o® L1/L2 armour or the Klim Tactical Shirt (optional) and rider position articulation.
